The Committee are elected by the membership and each serve two years.  Each Committee member is assigned an area to look after and support.

Sam Jones

Sam Jones

Sam is Co-Chair and looks after our Theatre members

She has previously been Head of Casting at the Royal Shakespeare Company, Casting Director of the Almeida Theatre and of National Theatre Wales for it’s first 6 award-winning years.
She has worked extensively in theatre both nationally and internationally, regionally and in the West End.
She also works in television and film. Recent television work includes: The English and Black Earth Rising, both for Hugo Blick/Drama Republic; Wanderlust, Life, Love and Marriage also for Drama Republic; Ridley Rd, The Long Call, The Lost Honour of Christopher Jefferies, Dark Angel all for ITV; The Trick, To Provide All People, Under Milk Wood for Vox/BBC; NW, The Hollow Crown, Paula, Don’t Forget the Driver, Occupation all for BBC.
She is an Honorary Fellow at Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.

Rebecca Wright

Rebecca is Co-Chair Treasurer and looks after TV as well as our Probationary members.

Rebecca has been in casting since 1998, setting up on her own in 2011.

She casts for TV and Film and has most recently worked on Series 2 & 3 of Sanditon (Red Planet Pictures/Masterpiece/britbox/ITV). Other TV credits include Britannia series 2 & 3 (Neal Street Productions/Sky Atlantic), Call The Midwife Series 4 – 8 (Neal Street Productions/BBC1), Rillington Place (BBC1) and Thirteen (BBC3).

Kevin Riddle

Kevin Riddle

Kevin is Vice Chair and looks after the CDG Social Media and is our liaison for the EDI (Equality, Diversity & Inclusion) Group.  He also looks after our Regional members

Kevin began his career in casting at the BBC, working on continuing dramas including Holby City and EastEnders. He set up his own company in 2015, focusing on TV comedy. Originally from the North-East, after many years in London he is now based in Bristol. TV credits include There She Goes, Jerk, Zapped and Uncle.

Orla looks after our TV and Film members

Orla began her career as a casting assistant in the mid-90s in London bar a few years break to have her family, she has been in casting ever since.  She works primarily in UK and International TV and Film and set up her company Casting Pictures in 2019.

Recent TV credits include, Stay Close, The Stranger for Red & Netflix, Das Boot 3&4 for Bavaria Fiction & Sky, The Defeated for Bron, The Reunion for Make It Happen & MGM, Recent Film credits include: Enola Holmes 2, Luther, Uncharted, Infinite, Red Joan, Red Sparrow

Frank Moiselle

Frank Moiselle

Frank looks after our Probationary members as well as our TV and Film members

Frank has been a casting director for more than 30 years. He is Ireland based (Dublin) has the  H Dip in Education from University College Dublin and he is a Fellow of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Ireland.

Frank began his career in casting by assisting on John Huston’s film The Dead and since then his Casting Director credits include the following – for Television: Vikings: Valhalla (3 seasons), Vikings (6 seasons), The Tudors (4 seasons), Penny Dreadful (3 seasons), The Borgias (2 seasons), Camelot and Ballykissangel (6 seasons); –  for Film:  In America and The Secret Scripture directed by the multi Academy Award nominated Jim Sheridan, Ondine directed by the Academy Award winner Neil Jordan, King Arthur directed by Antoine Fuqua and Veronica Guerin directed by Joel Schumacher. He has been nominated for 3 Primetime Emmys along with nominations at the Canadian Screen Awards.

Nadine Rennie

Nadine looks after our probationary and theatre members

Nadine was in-house Casting Director at Soho Theatre in London for over fifteen years; working on new plays by writers including Dennis Kelly, Bryony Lavery, Arinzé Kene, Roy Williams, Philip Ridley, Laura Wade, Hassan Abdulrazzak, Vicky Jones, Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Oladipo Agboluaje.

Since going freelance in January 2019 Nadine has worked for theatres across London and the UK including Paines Plough, Arcola Theatre, Orange Tree Theatre, Sheffield Crucible, Leeds Playhouse, Fuel Theatre, National Theatre of Wales, Northern Stage, Pleasance Theatre London, Almeida, Minack Theatre, Kiln Theatre, Wales Millennium Centre and continues to cast on a regular basis for Soho Theatre.

Recent theatre includes:

Super High Resolution and The Ministry of Lesbian Affairs (Soho Theatre); He Said She Said (Synergy Theatre Tour/Kiln); Bacon (Finborough Theatre); Further Than The Furthest Thing (Minack, Cornwall); Leaves of Glass (Park Theatre/Lidless Theatre)

Nadine has a long-running association as Casting Director for Synergy Theatre Project.

TV work includes BAFTA-winning CBBC series Dixi, casting the first three series.
