The Committee

The Committee are elected by the membership and each serve two years.  Each Committee member is assigned an area to look after and support.

Jessica Ronane

Jessica Ronane

Jessica is Co Chair, Treasurer and looks after our Theatre members.

Jessica is currently in-house Casting Director for Matthew Warchus at The Old Vic and her Theatre includes: Endgame/Rough for Theatre II, A Christmas Carol, Lungs, A Very Expensive Poison, Present Laughter, All My Sons, The American Clock, SYLVIA, A Monster Calls, Mood Music, Fanny & Alexander, Woyzeck, Rosencrantz & Guildenstern are Dead, King Lear, The Caretaker, The Master Builder, Dr. Seuss’s The Lorax, The Hairy Ape, Future Conditional (The Old Vic); Girl from the North Country (The Old Vic/West End); The Divide (The Old Vic/ EIF); Running Wild, To Kill a Mockingbird (Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre). Children’s casting includes: School of Rock, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Billy Elliot the Musical (West End); Matilda the Musical (RSC/West End/Broadway). Additionally her film credits include: The Kid Who Would Be King, Emma.


Kate Ringsell

Kate Co Chair looks after the interests of our Probationary members.

She has been in casting for fifteen years, setting up on her own in 2015. Credits include the forthcoming ‘Tolkien’, ‘The Lost City of Z’, ‘Justice League’, ‘My Dinner with Herve’ and ‘Sense8’.

Jane Anderson

Jane Anderson

Jane is our Vice Chair, our liaison for the EDI (Equality, Diversity & Inclusion) Group, and our liaison and member support for our regional members.

Jane Anderson started her career in production and made the move into casting in 2004, setting up on her own in 2010.  She casts comedies and drama for TV & Film and works extensively with young performers. Though born and bred in London, she relocated to Manchester in 2014.

Credits include: TV  – ‘Lagging’, ’Ted’s Top Ten’, ‘Creeped Out’, ‘Bucket’, ‘Spying on Hitler’s Army: The Secret Recordings’. Features – ‘Hard Boiled Sweets’, ‘Viking Destiny’ & BAFTA Cymru winning ‘Convenience’.


Debbie McWillaims

Debbie McWilliams

Debbie is our committee member responsible for film.

She has been a casting director for over 40 years and has cast at least 100 films and TV series.

She is probably best known for her work on the James Bond franchise having cast 14 of the 25 films.

She was the recipient in our first year’s awards for Film Stars don’t Die in Liverpool.

When not working she can be found at her house in France where she has owned a property for 30 years.

Kevin Riddle

Kevin Riddle

Kevin looks after the CDG Social Media and is our liaison for the EDI (Equality, Diversity & Inclusion) Group.

Kevin began his career in casting at the BBC, working on continuing dramas including Holby City and EastEnders. He set up his own company in 2015, focusing on TV comedy. Originally from the North-East, after many years in London he is now based in Bristol. TV credits include There She Goes, Jerk, Zapped and Uncle.

Rebecca Wright

Rebecca looks after our Probationary and TV members.

Rebecca has been in casting since 1998, setting up on her own in 2011.

She casts for TV and Film and has most recently worked on Series 2 & 3 of Sanditon (Red Planet Pictures/Masterpiece/britbox/ITV). Other TV credits include Britannia series 2 & 3 (Neal Street Productions/Sky Atlantic), Call The Midwife Series 4 – 8 (Neal Street Productions/BBC1), Rillington Place (BBC1) and Thirteen (BBC3).

Sam Jones

Sam Jones

Sam will be joining Jessica and Sophie to look after Theatre members.
She has previously been Head of Casting at the Royal Shakespeare Company, Casting Director of the Almeida Theatre and of National Theatre Wales for it’s first 6 award-winning years.
She has worked extensively in theatre both nationally and internationally, regionally and in the West End.
She also works in television and film. Recent television work includes: The English and Black Earth Rising, both for Hugo Blick/Drama Republic; Wanderlust, Life, Love and Marriage also for Drama Republic; Ridley Rd, The Long Call, The Lost Honour of Christopher Jefferies, Dark Angel all for ITV; The Trick, To Provide All People, Under Milk Wood for Vox/BBC; NW, The Hollow Crown, Paula, Don’t Forget the Driver, Occupation all for BBC.
She is an Honorary Fellow at Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
