Jim Arnold is looking for a Casting Assistant to work with him on a big West End project from the end of August – exact start and end dates TBC, but it is likely to be 4-6 weeks initially, possibly longer.
The ideal candidate is a highly motivated and meticulously organised professional, who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You should possess an exceptional ability to multi-task, with excellent attention to detail, a positive, solution-oriented mindset and a calm and friendly demeanour.
The job will require working remotely from home, as well as attending auditions in person in London. You should have your own Mac laptop and phone, and have a good working knowledgeable of several computer software packages, including Google Drive, iCloud, Numbers/Pages, Word/Excel and Dropbox.
Duties will include checking availabilities, booking auditions, arranging and uploading audition footage, typing audition lists and other general admin.
Please have 1 to 2 years’ experience of working as a Casting Assistant, with a good knowledge of the industry, agents and casting breakdown services Experience of working in musicals, or having a keen interest in or knowledge of MT, would be an advantage.
