Robert Sterne Casting – Casting Assistant

Robert Sterne Casting is looking for an experienced casting assistant to join our team based at Forest Hill offices in South East London.

We need team player with excellent communication skills who is hard-working, motivated, bright, quick, friendly and efficient to work across a number of film, tv and theatre projects.

An eye for detail, very strong organisational skills, a keen interest in actors and the ability to carry out research into performers/artists/musicians who are not necessarily from an acting background are all crucial. An interest in football would be useful for one of our current projects.

Tasks will include setting up audition sessions, checking availabilities, formatting lists, helping run casting sessions, researching performers, helping to co-ordinate kids’ casting searches, generating and collating self-tapes and uploading and downloading audition footage.

We would ideally be looking for someone with at least one year’s previous experience in a casting environment. Mac savviness is crucial.

We would start with an initial trial period of one month with the intention to move on to full-time permanent position and to develop towards an associate role.

Sarah Crowe Casting is looking for an experienced Casting Assistant or Casting Associate

Sarah Crowe Casting is looking for an experienced Casting Assistant or Casting Associate (dependant on experience) to work across various projects for 2 weeks of holiday cover. This would be from15th – 26th September with a few days handover w/c 8th.   This is a full time position working predominantly from our office in De Beauvoir (Dalston).

Own laptop and a minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in casting needed.

Must be familiar with Spotlight, Excel, Google Drive, I-Movie, Dropbox.
Good knowledge of actors and agents.
Experience of checking avails, setting up and running sessions.
Attention to detail and good organisational skills.
Familiar with the Pact Equity agreement and deals/CANs.
Comfortable with dogs.
