Carla Stronge Casting – Assistant

The team at Carla Stronge Casting are looking for an assistant to join them ASAP for a minimum of 12 weeks (full-time), working predominantly on a large-scale search for a new returnable show.

Ideally, we’re looking for someone either already based in Ireland OR an Irish native who might currently be living elsewhere. A great ear for differentiating between regional Irish accents would be a real bonus here, hence the preference for someone with that genuine Irish connection. We particularly want to hear from anyone from Cork!

This post will mostly involve remote working but depending on where you are based, you may be required to coordinate & run in-person sessions from time to time.

The right person will have prior experience in a casting office and be comfortable with the following;
– Using Gmail / Dropbox / Microsoft Office / Zoom
– AV Checks / Tape requests / Making lists
– Liaising with agents (a prior knowledge of Irish / UK agents very useful)
– Downloading tapes and uploading to Frame.IO / Cast It / Dropbox
– Setting up sessions / co-ordinating sessions on the day

Great admin skills and attention to detail is a must! You will need your own laptop.

If you think you might be a good fit, please send your CV / covering letter to info@carlastrongecasting.com with ‘CASTING ASSISTANT’ in the subject title.
