After 40 years as a freelancer, I asked for a full-time job at my local producing theatre, the New Vic Theatre, Staffordshire, where I had worked as part of my freelance life for over 15 years. Being full time, means that I’ve only been able to fit in a handful of additional jobs. Don’t let that put you off though. – It’s always worth an ask.
