Pearson Casting – Casting Assistant

Pearson Casting are seeking for an experienced Casting Assistant to add their London team on a 3 month freelance basis, with an immediate start, with the possibility to extend into more permanent work.

This person should already have worked as a Casting Assistant, or Senior Casting Assistant, in a busy office with several months experience working across theatre and musical theatre at some point in their career. We are looking for someone detail-oriented with the ability to work across multiple projects at once – this person needs to be highly organised and outstanding with admin. Must be passionate about Musical Theatre and Drama with extensive knowledge of UK agents, drama schools and actors within theatre and film/TV. We need a creative individual who can work independently and is comfortable doing extensive research, making shortlists and liaising with agents.

This role is primarily office-based, although we will be able to offer some time in the audition room – we are not able to offer remote or hybrid working for this role and the full Pearson team work in the Bermondsey office Monday-Friday. There is also the likelihood of this role working across some US projects which may require some flexibility in working hours, to be mutually agreed in advance.

A laptop will be provided – knowledge of Mac systems an advantage but full training will be provided. We are hoping to be able to extend this role out past the end of September so would love to invest time in working with someone new who is ready for their next challenge.

You must be registered self-employed.
