Simone Pereira Hind (formerly Simone Ireland) has been casting for over 30 years in film, television and theatre. Recent projects include The Dark for ITV, Counsels, Gifted, An T’Eilean and The Primrose Railway Children for the BBC and The Seagull for the Royal Lyceum, Edinburgh, all in partnership with Anna Dawson. Simone and Anna work from their studio in Edinburgh, whilst maintaining a base in London

Elizabeth – Cate Blanchett nominated for an Oscar, won the Golden Globe and BAFTA, as did Geoffrey Rush.
Hilary and Jackie – Emily Watson and Rachel Griffiths both nominated for Oscars, and Watson for the BAFTA and Golden Globe. Watson won the BIFA and Griffiths was nominated.
