CASTING ASSOCIATE

Dixie Chassay is seeking an experienced Casting Associate for future projects, starting March onwards.

Must have minimum of 2/3 years previous casting experience working across projects, and have a good knowledge of film, theatre & TV actors.

Must be someone who enjoys being thorough and efficient with keen eye for detail.

Essential skills include reading actors, setting up meetings, running and overseeing schedules for an office & directors, editing tapes, uploading via Cast It & Dropbox.

Must have some experience of deal memos, CAN’s, schedules and be Mac proficient.

Candidates must be very efficient and experienced in using word, and have great time management.

Jina Jay Casting – Casting Assistant or Associate

All of a sudden Jina Jay Casting is looking for a casting assistant or associate for holiday cover starting immediately. Approx. 2 weeks with possibility to extend.
Candidate must have previous experience in editing audition and video footage, checking availabilities, liaising with agents and running casting sessions.
Experience with Spotlight and IMDBPro is essential. Knowledge of Castit is absolutely preferred.
Candidate must be a great multi-tasker with attention to detail and have an excellent phone manner. Ideally works from own laptop.

Casting Assistant Needed

Rachel Freck Casting are looking for a casting assistant to join the team at some point in March, for four to six months, and possibly longer. We’re working on a number of high profile TV series – both comedy and drama.

Candidates must have at least 2 years’ experience working in casting, preferably in TV and or film. They must have a good knowledge of agents, be confident in running casting sessions, editing using iMovie and Quicktime, and working with Directors Share and/or CastIt. Day to day duties will include checking avails, setting up multiple sessions for several projects, editing, running pre-meet sessions and helping run the office. Experience in working at speed, and multi-tasking, with a keen eye for detail is a must.

We are a small office, based in Balham, looking for someone with a flexible, positive attitude, to jump right in and become one of the team.

NB current start date is a little flexible so please do still apply if you’re not available until the end of March.

Casting Associate / Assistant Needed

Elaine Grainger’s office is looking for another Casting Associate / Assistant to join the team.

We have various Feature Films and TV projects, some under way and some starting this week so ideally candidates would be available to start this week but not essential so please state your overall avail and experience.

Must have a good knowledge of film, theatre & television actors.

Previous casting experience is absolutely essential so please only apply if you have good relevant experience listed below.

Experience of all the usual casting skills and admin including setting up & running sessions, editing tapes, uploading to Cast It. Paperwork such as lists and avails, Deal Memos, Can’s, contracts and working with filming schedules.

Candidates must be efficient and experienced on MAC, using word and Excel, have an excellent personable telephone manner, a hard worker and not afraid of long hours is essential.
