The Committee

The Committee are elected by the membership and each serve two years.  Each Committee member is assigned an area to look after and support.

Victor Jenkins

Victor Jenkins

Victor is Chair and Treasurer, and also looks after our Film members.

He has been in casting since 2003 and was co-founder of VHJ Casting (2010 – 2016). In 2017 he set up his solo venture, VJC. Credits include award winning shows Broadchurch, Humans, Unforgotten, Fleabag, and The Wrong Mans, and most recently he has been working on the Netflix/BBC show Troy: Fall Of A City, ITV’s Clean break, and US series The Rook.

Jessica is our Vice Chair and looks after our Theatre and Probationary members.

Jessica is currently in-house Casting Director for Matthew Warchus at The Old Vic and her Theatre includes: Endgame/Rough for Theatre II, A Christmas Carol, Lungs, A Very Expensive Poison, Present Laughter, All My Sons, The American Clock, SYLVIA, A Monster Calls, Mood Music, Fanny & Alexander, Woyzeck, Rosencrantz & Guildenstern are Dead, King Lear, The Caretaker, The Master Builder, Dr. Seuss’s The Lorax, The Hairy Ape, Future Conditional (The Old Vic); Girl from the North Country (The Old Vic/West End); The Divide (The Old Vic/ EIF); Running Wild, To Kill a Mockingbird (Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre). Children’s casting includes: School of Rock, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Billy Elliot the Musical (West End); Matilda the Musical (RSC/West End/Broadway). Additionally her film credits include: The Kid Who Would Be King, Emma.


Andy Brierley

Andy looks after the CDG Social Media and is our liaison for the EDI (Equality, Diversity & Inclusion) Group.

Andy has worked in casting for 15 years. Current and forthcoming projects include Starstruck (Avalon/BBC/HBO Max), The Watch (BBC Studios/BBC America, co-credit with Victor Jenkins CDG), The Spanish Princess series 2 (New Pictures/Starz, co-credit with Victor Jenkins CDG), Get Even (Netflix/CBBC), Worzel Gummidge (BBC1) and his fifth series of BBC1’s Silent Witness.


Jane Anderson

Jane Anderson

Jane looks after our TV members and is our liaison for the EDI (Equality, Diversity & Inclusion) Group.  Along with this she is also our liaison and member support for our regional members.

She started her career in production and made the move into casting in 2004, setting up on her own in 2010. She casts comedies and drama for TV & Film and works extensively with young performers. Though born and bred in London, she relocated to Manchester in 2014.

Credits include: TV series – ‘Lagging’, ‘Creeped Out’, Hank Zipzer’, ‘All At Sea’, ‘Bucket’, ‘Spying on Hitler’s Army: The Secret Recordings’. Features – ‘Hard Boiled Sweets’, ‘Viking Destiny’ & BAFTA Cymru winning ‘Convenience’.


Kate Ringsell

Kate looks after the interests of our TV, Film and Probationary members.

She has been in casting for fifteen years, setting up on her own in 2015. Credits include the forthcoming ‘Tolkien’, ‘The Lost City of Z’, ‘Justice League’, ‘My Dinner with Herve’ and ‘Sense8’.

Stuart Burt

Stuart Burt

Stuart looks after our probationary and theatre members. He is also our member support liaison.

He has been in casting since 2006, in-house for ATG where he became Head of Casting, becoming a freelancer in 2016.

Current musical credits include: & Juliet; Sister Act; Singing in the Rain; Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat; Standing at the Sky’s Edge and The Drifters Girl.  As Casting Director for The Jamie Lloyd Company credits include: The Seagull, Cyrano de Bergerac; Betrayal; Pinter at the Pinter; Doctor Faustus; The Maids; The Homecoming; The Hothouse; The Ruling Class; Richard III; Macbeth; East is East and The Pride.
