The Committee

The Committee are elected by the membership and each serve two years.  Each Committee member is assigned an area to look after and support.

Victor Jenkins

Victor Jenkins

Victor is Chair and Treasurer, and also looks after our TV members.  He is the spokesperson for our relationship with Equity. He has been in casting since 2003 and was co-founder of VHJ Casting (2010 – 2016). In 2017 he set up his solo venture, VJC. Credits include award winning shows Broadchurch, Humans, Unforgotten, Fleabag, and The Wrong Mans, and most recently he has been working on the Netflix/BBC show Troy: Fall Of A City, ITV’s Clean break, and US series The Rook.

Priscilla John

Priscilla John

Priscilla is our Vice Chair and looks after the interests of our Film members and is also the spokesperson for our CDG Bursary. Priscilla’s career started at Granada TV casting iconic dramas such as Jewel In the Crown which led to casting David Lean’s A Passage To India. Her work includes blockbusters such as Captain America: The First Avenger, Pirates of the Caribbean II and III & Mamma Mia! to cult classics A Fish Called Wanda & Distant Voices, Still Lives. Most recently completed Features, Red Sparrow for 20th Century Fox, Red Joan for Lionsgate, The Turning for Amblin and TV Drama series Safe for Netflix , and Krypton for Warner Brothers/Syfy.

Kate Ringsell

Kate looks after the interests of our TV and Probationary members and is also the spokesperson for our relationship with the PMA.
She has been in casting for fifteen years, setting up on her own in 2015. Credits include the forthcoming ‘Tolkien’, ‘The Lost City of Z’, ‘Justice League’, ‘My Dinner with Herve’ and ‘Sense8’.

Jessica looks after our theatre members as well as being one of the main contacts for the PMA and Equity.

Jessica is currently in-house Casting Director for Matthew Warchus at The Old Vic and her Theatre includes: Endgame/Rough for Theatre II, A Christmas Carol, Lungs, A Very Expensive Poison, Present Laughter, All My Sons, The American Clock, SYLVIA, A Monster Calls, Mood Music, Fanny & Alexander, Woyzeck, Rosencrantz & Guildenstern are Dead, King Lear, The Caretaker, The Master Builder, Dr. Seuss’s The Lorax, The Hairy Ape, Future Conditional (The Old Vic); Girl from the North Country (The Old Vic/West End); The Divide (The Old Vic/ EIF); Running Wild, To Kill a Mockingbird (Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre). Children’s casting includes: School of Rock, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Billy Elliot the Musical (West End); Matilda the Musical (RSC/West End/Broadway). Additionally her film credits include: The Kid Who Would Be King, Emma.

Andy Brierley

Andy looks after the CDG Social Media and TV members and is also one of our contacts for anything related to PACT

Andy has worked in casting for 15 years. Current and forthcoming projects include Starstruck (Avalon/BBC/HBO Max), The Watch (BBC Studios/BBC America, co-credit with Victor Jenkins CDG), The Spanish Princess series 2 (New Pictures/Starz, co-credit with Victor Jenkins CDG), Get Even (Netflix/CBBC), Worzel Gummidge (BBC1) and his fifth series of BBC1’s Silent Witness.

Sophie Parrott

Sophie Parrott

Sophie looks after our probationary members and also our theatre members. She is our diversity liaison and also looks after our social media. She has worked in the industry for over a decade and specialises in casting for theatre and television.

Sophie was also involved in the development of ‘The Company’ talent pool whilst in-house at BBC Casting, which is ‘a BBC initiative looking to both increase the level of disabled people on television and to help develop the careers of individual talented actors that struggle in an industry has frequently excluded them.’

She is currently casting Series 9 of Call The Midwife for Neal Street Productions’
