An impassioned advocate for better representation in the industry both on and off screen, Ri makes diversity and inclusion central to all their work.  They are a founding member of the CDG’s EDI Group since 2018 as well as creating the CDG’s casting internship programme for people currently underrepresented in the profession, which launched in early 2022.

Ri is has most recently cast ‘Dead’ Hot’ (Amazon Prime/Tubi) and ‘Significant Other’ (ITVX), both for Quay St Productions, and was Co-Casting Director on the second series of ‘Traces’ for Red Productions, alongside Andy Pryor. Credits as Associate to Andy include: ‘Mrs Harris Goes to Paris’, ‘The Winter King’, ‘Nolly’, ‘Wolf’, ‘The Devil’s Hour’, ‘Ralph & Katie’, ‘It’s A Sin’ (for which the team won Best Casting in a Limited Series at the 2022 CDG Awards); ‘Years and Years’ (team nominated for Best Casting in a Drama Series CDG Awards 2020); ‘Gentleman Jack’ s1 + 2; ‘Doctor Who’ s10 – present; ‘The A Word’ s.2-3; ‘Traces s1’; ‘Summer of Rockets’; ‘Hard Sun’; ‘Cold Feet’ s8; ‘Stan & Ollie’. Other solo Casting Director credits include short films ‘Pork Scratchings’; ‘The Cost of Living’; ‘I Luv Mat Johnson’, as well as various theatre productions including at the Arcola, Finborough, Charing Cross Theatre and Upstairs at the Gatehouse.
