Experienced Casting Assistant Required

Sophie Holland Casting is seeking an experienced Casting Associate to join the team from January till early spring, to work on a few films including one for the US, so there may be long hours. Office/ Studio based in Sydenham, SE London.

Should have no less than 3 years experience. Must have a strong knowledge of actors/ agents and experienced in setting up & running sessions, editing and uploading. Should be comfortable reading in with actors and directing in the room.

Must have own computer (Mac preferred).

Experienced Casting Assistant

Andy Morgan is looking for an experienced assistant from January 3rd for just 4-5 weeks as an additional pair of hands whilst 2 large TV projects overlap.

Candidates must have experience in prepping & distributing CANs, and doing deals (under instruction) on supporting/cameo roles. Experience in this area & attention to detail is imperative please.

Other duties will include the usual:- checking availabilities, setting up sessions etc. etc.

The office is in Tulse Hill, SW2 & candidates must be dog friendly

It will be busy, so a relaxed, positive demeanour would be advantageous x

Freelance Assistant – 2018 Chichester Festival

A freelance assistant is required to work with Charlotte Sutton on several projects for the 2018 Chichester Festival.

The initial dates are 2-26 January 2018, with the possibility of more to follow on an ad hoc basis.

Applicants will need their own computer (ideally a Mac) and mobile phone (expenses will be provided). Much of this time will be spent working individually from home so this role would suit a motivated self-starter. At other times, the assistant will work with Charlotte from an office in central London.

Tasks will include availability checks, calling in for audition sessions, typing up CANs, and other admin based responsibilities on a range of projects including both plays and musicals.

A good telephone manner and efficient admin skills are essential, and a knowledge of actors and agents would be beneficial.

Dixie Chassay is seeking a Casting Associate to work on Feature Films & TV starting from Jan 2018 or week prior to Christmas break, flexible. (Has potential to become a long term position).

  • Must have a good knowledge of film, theatre & television actors, and a minimum of 4 years previous casting experience.
  • Must have experience of deal memos, CAN’s and schedules.
  • Essential skills include setting up & running sessions, editing tapes, uploading via Cast It & Dropbox.
  • Candidates must be very efficient and experienced in using word, be good on the phone etc.
