Amy worked professionally as an actress for a number of years before moving into casting. She has worked with CDs including Ginny Schiller, Annelie Powell, Kharmel Cochrane and Anna Kennedy. She is now based in Belfast and working with Carla Stronge on TV and Film projects, whilst continuing to cast Theatre across the UK.

In 2021, Amy worked with fellow Casting Director Anna Dawson and Tagmin to develop a new tool designed to give actors a Yes/No outcome to every audition.
