It is with great sadness that we have to report that Doreen Jones died on Sunday 19 February 2017. Doreen had one of the longest and most incredible casting careers in the industry and will be remembered so fondly by us all.

Doreen worked on over 400 TV dramas and series. She won an Emmy award in 2006 for Elizabeth l starring Helen Mirren and to date is one of only 2 British Casting Directors to win this prestigious award.

She was a founder of the Casting Directors’ Guild in 1997.

We will all miss her.
