Biography |
Nikki Meadows is a Brighton/London based Casting Director with a wealth of experience in casting major brand commercials, online content, BAFTA winning TV broadcast documentary dramas and short films. She is a full member of the Casting Directors’ Guild and The Casting Directors Association.
Recent notable TV drama broadcast credits include Lucan – Time for the Truth (ITV1 – Guardian Pick of The Day), Suffragettes with Lucy Worsley (BBC1 – Best Specialist Factual BAFTA winner 2019), Tell Me Who I Am (Netflix – directed by Ed Perkins and produced by Simon Chin/Lightbox) and Damian Lewis – Spy Wars (History UK & A+E networks US, produced by Alaska Productions) and directed by David O’Neil.
Having spent most of her early career working in leading theatrical agencies, first as an agents assistant and then agent and music manager, she can advise on all aspects of artists contracts and has strong industry connections with substantial experience in comedy, music and children’s/family casting. Her previous senior artist management CV included long term relationships with artists such as Elton John, Courtney Pine, Barry Humphries, Billy Connolly and Count Arthur Strong and alongside casting she’s still busy looking after the career of multi-award winning jazz saxophonist Courtney Pine who she is very proud to have managed exclusively for over 25 years.
She is signed up to Equity’s manifesto for casting and follows the CDG and the CDA’s codes of conduct.
